17 year old kid

so I know this is a few weeks old, but I still need to blog about it. it is about this 8ft tall 17 year kid who is leaving HS to go play ball in Europe or something until he is old enough to be drafted in the NBA. everyone is giving his shit. the thing is, honesty, its not any differed than a sivont musician or amazing tennis player OR these stupid teenie bopper singers who all stop going to school in HS to pursue their talent or career. so stop the double standard. I mean the williams sisters did that! no one gave them shit. the problem is not them, the prob is that in our society a teenager can forgo a high school degree and still pursue a "professing" that our society has found acceptable to pay millions and millions of dollars for. so lay off the basketball sivaunt and realise it is our society that has set up a culture of acceptability over this.
